Just my opinion..but I think that the gun hasn't been fired very much at all. That pitting could have occured after five shells if ya don,t clean the gun and it's in a moist enviorment.

I can't stop looking at this Parker. If it had the box it came in it would certainly eclips EDM's Trojan. I think this is a $10,000.00 + Parker!

A thought to consider would be that Parker had a [ make as new ] option if you returned gun to them. I never hear this mentioned from the more seasoned members. Just a thought.

What got my attention reading the TPS was the returning of a Parker shooters gun and the used gun run threw the shop to be sold latter, wonder if it was sold as used.
