I was at David's shop in Maine and saw some of the progression of this project... he is a craftsman of the highest order. I could not find the splice! My hat's off to him!!
Yesterday when David called me to chat he told me the gun was now back with its owner. I asked David, "So David, what do you think of the job you did on it?"
David replied, "Don't ask me, I'm the bloke that did the work and I'm too critical on myself. You're better off askin' the owner what he thinks of it."
