My loading bench has been a piece of 3/4-inch plywood with three C-clamps to attach it to a table wherever I've lived. Has three- and four-screw spots for two different style bases on my MECs. Made it when I lived in an apartment in Chula Vista, CA, 1971 to 73. BOQ at Elmendorf AFB 1974-75. Condo in Alexandria, VA, 1975 to 2002. And here in Spokane County 2003 to present.

Here's mine. Cheap kitchen cabinetry from Home Depot, pellet catcher cookie sheet discussed earlier, and a hole cut thru the top to allow completed shells to fall into the drawer

So, Bill: while you're watching though the rear-view mirror, are the objects you see "closer than they actually appear"? Never have figured that one out!!
