Tell us about your scarce Model 23. What have you done to make the choking more friendly?

I bought the Winchester 23 heavy duck three years ago. Great find and it shoots very well. Came in third at the 2012 Vintagers with a 47 in the american gun category. When I got it, the gun was choked Mod/Mod. I left it that way. Before shooting that gun I was a constant choke changer. Since then I have gone to a Perazzi MX2000S with fixed chokes Mod/IMod for sporting clays.

IMHO chokes are over rated.I think of chokes the way I think of game improvement clubs in golf. With open chokes you can get away with more. Nothing like a tight choke to smooth out your move and mount.
