They " freeze brand" the dogs for identification purposes.
Freeze branding destroys pigment-forming (color) cells of the hair follicle. Hair continues to grow, but will grow in white. Last edited by David Weber; 01-30-2014 at 11:05 PM.. Reason: To add more info. |
