it has been chilly here Angel. But nothing like it will get later - only 6 inches of snow and never got below the upper teens in the temp

Mark, somewhere I have a vhs of a last of the season hunt on Tonawanda several years ago, the tape is labeled THE ICE HUNT

we broke ice in the channel, got set up, and were swarmed by mallards, the three of us had a but one short of the then 3 apiece limit in minutes. It was so cold that the guy who needed a bird took the next hen over just to get out and get warm.

those are the hunts you remember for years.
