jim i live in north mississippi we are allowed to shoot buckshoot or slugs or rifles either..my lc smith long range patterns good on the test board with 91.5 percent in the 30 inch circle useing 7 1/2 shot..it should be a good turkey gun..jim tell us about your lc smith long range... heh dean now that only measured 24 inches across that pattern.. your rite about the distance with buckshot shots should be kept fairly close...lots of deer have been lost and died and not found shooting buckshot at too far of distance...i only know of one deer that got away shot by me shooting buckshot most either dropped in tracks or went no farther than 40 yards i do keep my shots to a close distance but i do like to no what each of my old shotguns are capable of... charlie
