Bill,

You are correct about the rib extension on your Trojan being a feature of the earlier Trojans. It was eliminated after a few years because it's purpose was most likely deemed not important.
To answer your question about rarety. It is not really rare at all. Considering that every Trojan for the first few years of production had it. And many more after that as parts were used up and such. Thousands of guns would have the extension.
The rib extension would not be considered a value adder.

Thanks for your response Mr Dudley. I had hoped for a few more posts but maybe the subject is "old hat" to the veteran Parker collectors.
