Default Senate Bill S792 requires license to buy and store smokeless and black powder

When I initially saw the video of the Boston bombing and the tell tale white clouds of smoke I knew black powder was used in the bombs. I mentioned to Scott Kittredge the next morning it may become more difficult to buy gun and smokeless powder. Well here it comes, the bill would require reloaders to pass a background check, have a license to buy powder and limit what we can store:

Thanks Pete!

It is time for all to contact their senators and express their opinion concerning this bill.

Was it black powder or "flash powder?" (I heard "flash powder.) Regardless, it did come from fireworks.

Why don't they restrict fireoworks ? Hell, where I live - such fireworks are already illegal.

For that matter, when are the environmental wackos going to push for an all-out ban on fireworks ? Surely they know of all the chamicals/metals needed to make those pretty colors...

But, I guess they don't care. But they sure will claim that our lead shot & bullets are creating an evironmental disaster !

Don't get me going...but I sure am sick of hearing that almost every shooter that the cops catch or search for has a rap sheet a mile long - full of not just arrests but felony convictions. WHY ARE THEY NOT IN JAIL ????? In my dream world, you pull weeds from your garden, and get malignant tumors removed from your body...

Keep these animals in jail & leave me the hell alone !

In protest against this bill I went out today and bought another 8-pounder of powder and a sleeve of primers. But don't tell the feds...
