Thank you for the information. We are located in the Pacific Northwest (near Seattle) and have not had any luck finding anyone here who is qualified to make such an appraisal. If you can recommend someone that would be very helpful. My father's assessment of the condition was "fair"; it is intact but clearly was used and could use an expert restoration.
