Thanks guys!

Dean, I agree, very similar. I was thinking of having a new screw made but decided against it for the time being as long as the trip keeps working. I wonder why our screws are so hard to get out. Old age and rust inside I guess.

Dave, I shot in the hammergun event and made the team my first year at the Southern. I was disappointed I didn't get a hat It's tough to shoot the event on Sunday if you have a long drive home.

Dave S. and George, I'll let you fondle it if your nice. Edgar, I'm still not sure about

Dave Dwyer, other than the age of the gun, what's the grade of the gun in your post vs. your avatar picture. Are they both $250 grade guns? The one without the recessed hinge pin has sparse engraving like my D grade, yet your avatar (made later) has profuse engraving. I guess they just didn't have their engraving patterns established yet. Just guessing.

The Avatar is an upgrade. I wanted an A grade 7lb shooter, Austin gave me an O grade one frame barrel and receiver that had been through a fire and Sam Welch and Brad Brachelder created it.
