I can't say with any authority whatsoever whether the Parkers went poorly. Many had 'issues' as compared to originally shipped, but a DHE 20 ga for $5k is startling.
On the whole, I felt that much of the Winchesters assembled were going very well. I Have a difficult time believing a std grade '92, in the least desireable cartridge, 38-40, can be worth six thousand dollars. Condition may have trumped caliber here, but I have seen, and have several that are equal to, if not better, for less than half that.
Tomorrow's Winchesters are the stuff dreams are made of, and I'm anxious to see how they do, if only to reaffirm my knowledge I'll never have one like most of them.
