Colorado Gun Collectors Show May 19&20
I received today an invitation from Les Palmer of the Colorado Gun Collectors Association for the PGCA to display at the May 19&20 show at the Denver Expo Center. About 5 years ago, Charlie Herzog and I, with the spearheading of Mark Vollinger, drove out from Kansas City and from south of St Louis and brought about 25 guns for display. We did that for a couple years in the hope of helping establish a Parker presence in the Rocky Mountain states. It didn't continue after Mark moved to Los Angeles, but we hear comments from Rocky Mountain residents that they would like to see a Parker presence there.
This would be a great opportunity for those folks to get a tradition going. The Colorado Collectors can rent a display table for a small amount and if several members could get their Parkers together, it might be enjoyable and would help spread the Parker message.
