Parker 20 Gauge Shot Gun Market
I found this organization via the Blue Book of Gun Values. I know very little about the gun except the information provided by a gentleman at Cabela’s gun area. They classified it as in the 90% range of condition.
It is a Parker 20 gauge double barrel (side by side) shotgun with two triggers. Stamped on the grip of the butt, are the words “Parker Bros, Meridian, Conn”. The stock has intricate silver scroll work with a hunting dog on grass on each side and three birds (one walking and two flying) on the bottom. The two barrels also have some tool work at the base adjoining the silver plate. Along the top is the sighting bar that is tooled all the way down.
Based on serial number, manufactured post 1934.
Grade: DH
Frame Size: 0
Weight of Barrels: 311
When removing the barrels, engraved in the steel portion of the stock are the words “ Made in U.S.A., Ilion, N.Y.”
That is what I know about the gun, but would appreciate any input about how to best find a good market for this gun.
