Default Interesting Stock Size Differential

Left Gun
Meriden era
20 gauge
Zero frame
DHBP size 1
Weight 6/0
Finished BBL wgt 2/6
Barrel length 28"

Right Gun
Remington era
16 gauge
1 frame
DHBP size 0
Weight 6/10
Finished BBL wgt 2/14
Barrel length 28"

Both of these guns balance about the same point with no appreciable difference in feel other than total weight. I found it interesting there was such a size difference between the 2 stocks with the 16 ga. 1 frame being much smaller than the 20 gauge. I have other Remington era guns and have not found them to be stocked like this 16 gauge. Both stocks are original.

I have no point other than I found it an oddity.
Best!
