Yes I always went to the old original store on Upper Front Street where they first started out to get my license for grouse hunting. My FIL inherited and owned A. L. Davis Feed and Hardware, downtown a couple of blocks up from the "Minuteman" statue right where the Chenango River runs into the Susquehanna. They sold everything from loose shot in bins to huge farm combines. Unfortunately he sold out years before I met my wife. He remembered selling Parkers (mostly used) and lots of Ithacas, Remingtons and Winchesters over the years. Broke my heart when he told me his go-to "bush" gun for grouse was a Winchester Model 12 28 gauge bored IC. He claimed no one would buy it because it wouldn't "shoot close", so he claimed it for himself. He couldn't remember who he sold it to, a store employee most likely. It is still out there!
