Brian, I thought you might have had some interactions with Lawrence in his final days re: methods, expertise, parts inventory, machinery or whatever. Brian Hunt stepped up and came into play along with a small select coterie of experienced local NY gunsmiths when it was established that Lawrence Del Grego would likely not survive his lethal form of cancer. As I understand it, Brian's role was more of a referral to these individuals and as a go between to Paige and Troy Del Grego regarding who would be willing to take on the remaining work in the Del Grego shop to complete inventoried jobs. Having done so, my interpretation of the aftermath is that the business as we knew it ceased to operate as of Chick's death on May 10, 2024, as no one I know has heard of any communication from the surviving family members since that date.
