First heart of 2025
Was able to kill a doe on 1/2/25 and I cooked the heart tonight after letting it sit in salt water a few days . Dipped the heart slices in beaten eggs then dredged them in flour mixed with Cajun seasoning . After the heart was semi done added diced bell peppers and onions . Also made fresh mashed potatoes , left over pork n beans . And what was left of the eggs and flour I mixed together and made a fritter . Opened a bottle of Waterdog Red Wine and some Pepsi 0
