Lifter takes Feather and Fur
I had some success with the oldest Parker to date that I have harvested game with. This Grade 1 10 Gauge Lifter was built in 1875 on a # 2 frame. That makes it just shy of 150 years old. With 30" barrels, it comes in at a little over 8lbs. The interesting thing about this gun is that the Parker letter states that it was returned in 1877 to bore out the barrels to cylinder bore. It seemed to work ok with 3 3/4drams of 2f and 1 1/4 oz of nickel plated 5.5's.
