The guy who made reproduction hooks stopped. I decided to send it to the guy who should be able to fix it, waited too long and he passed away. I have bought 2 used hooks and one entire parts gun and discovered during days of work that every gun is totally different as to the fit of the hook, forend iron and action. This is true even within the same gauge. I have 6 or 7 graded FLues. They are beautiful with their engraving, wood and barrels (especially chain demascus) but the maintenance if they develope a problem will run you bonkers.
