12 Gauge Lifter
I purchased these parts a few months back, it came to me with everything except the butt stock.
I believe this would be a 0 Grade, due to no engraving and the Stub Twist barrels???
It would have been produced in 1875, and the barrels I’m looking to add are Plain Twist that are in the pictures.
I intend to have both sets of barrels which are 32”, refinished and then have Briley add tubes. The Plain Twist barrels are taking a good bit of effort to clean up as you can see in the pictures. This second set of barrels came with no extractor, so I’m currently having a small one man shop take care of that for me.
Both sets have pretty extensive internal pitting, so having them tubed to smaller gauges will be a good alternative in my opinion. It will not be a dainty lightweight sub gauge, but I’m excited to try it on the sporting clays course, time will tell
Then a new buttstock will be added and maybe new wood to replace the original forend which looks fairly rough.
