Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

Recoil pad advice
I've added a couple of Parkers to my little collection of late, and was shooting this past week when I came across a very knowledgeable collector who suggested that I change out the recoil pad on my 20 gauge, as it is not appropriate. It's a 1929 vintage Parker, V grade. Nice all the way around. What's the proper pad for that vintage? And what's a good source? And while I'm at it, can anyone assist with details on the sight beads? This 20 doesn't have them (broken off?) and I would like to get the proper ones installed. This collector also told me that the 20 did not come with a mid-barrel one originally, but there's a hole that I wouldn't mind filling. So I have two beads that need replacing. I assume that a good gunsmith is my best bet. Anyone know one near Richmond, VA? Thanks for all your help.
