Adjustable stock comb and recoil pad
I recently came across a post 1934-42 SC Trap Parker with a wooden adjustable comb matching the stock finish, and what appears to be a Morgan adjustable recoil pad. I am new to Parker shotguns and would like to know if these two modifications affect the value of this otherwise factory condition single shot 12 gauge. It appears that these trap models are not often encountered, at least on the internet. Is this the case? I only found two for sale and both have had some reconditioning, either the stock or all the finish. This one does not appear to have been worked on and the case hardening finish still sparkles. The serial number on this Parker is about 1,500 numbers from the estimated one that was last produced after Remington bought Parker. Any information would be most appreciated. THANK YOU!!
