I just sent some 20 ga. loads to test. They are 2 1/2" Cheddite hulls, Cheddite 209 (CX2000), SG20 wads, 16.0 gr. Longshot and 7/8 oz. 7 1/2 shot. These hulls are straight as are most Federal, I believe. These are identical to some I recently had tested but those were 17.9 Gr. Longshot. They came in at average 1280 FPS and 9883 PSI, hotter than I wanted. I THINK the Federal will give similar results BUT, the only to really know is load a half dozen, box'em up, and call UPS. I use Precision Reloading. With shot shells sometimes a single deviation can give you startlingly different results. I found this with a wad substitution, fortunately in a test batch not in the field! I'll post the results when I get them back, you decide.
