Default Parker Repro 28 and Federal TSS Custom Load

I see where Federal is offering "custom" TSS loads for the 28 gauge now. They offer a "Turkey" load that is 1oz of TSS @ 1100 FPS. Seem like this could be fairly low recoil (low pressure?) load that would devastating on a turkey. My question for you guys:

If the Repro is indeed rated safe for steel shot with the appropriate choke then is it safe to assume a TSS load like this Federal Custom would be reasonably safe, as well?

I currently shoot a similar load in my 20 gauge Merkel 47. It's one of the old Federal "Heavyweight" "low recoil" loads that predated their TSS loads, but similar (15g/cc vs 18g/cc). Those loads are 2 3/4" 1-1/8oz @1050fps. They have very low recoil, are very quiet and are devastating on turkeys.

Seems like you could do the same thing with this 28 custom load and benefit of a sub 6# gun and 26" barrel (a good thing in the turkey woods).

Thanks in advance for any input!
