I was rearranging some notebooks in my office and found a folder with ten photocopies of a 16-page, December 1910,
Western Field article by Edwin Hedderly of an automobile trip 108 miles from Los Angles to Bailey's ranch on Crane Lake for a canvasback hunt. Hedderly went with another in his Duro automobile. The Duro was manufactured in Los Angeles.

The other two members of the party came in a second car. If one can get by the flowery writing of the time it is interesting insight on how things were 112 years ago.
At any rate before I recycle the paper if anyone would like a copy, PM me a snail-mail address and I'll send a copy.

This article was from the year before he got his 32-inch barrel DHE 20- and 28-gauges.
