AH sent back several times. 1 frame with 30 “ 16ga fine Damascus and later added 30 “ 20ga Parker Steel. Ejectors added. This gun was brought back from England.
An interesting side story to this gun. The British proof house requires polished barrels although polishing removes good metal and reduces wall thickness. A friend and I were on a sporting clays course, he was shooting the 20ga barrels on this gun . I shot a series with it and commented that I thought I could feel the barrel wall flexing under my forward hand. Next round the barrel ruptured just forward of his lead hand , thankfully no injury. The wall thickness was .006 at the rupture and the barrels were in proof. The 20 ga barrels you see now have been sleeved .
