Hi Guys, The "P" on the serial number was for Prototype. The first P numbered gun was # P 0026. I do not know how many were built as I was not that involved with them at that time. My father did not "give them away" as gifts etc. If you wanted one you ordered it just like anyone else, and you payed for it like anyone else. Hope that helps some.
