As I have far fewer than most here, not that tough, but I must admit to being enamored with the balance of my little VH 12ga with 26" barrels and factory upgraded wood. For a short gun, it drops high pheasant like a hammer with its Mod/Full chokes. And, yet it swings fast on those surprise birds. You can load it light with 7/8 oz loads or put a bit more lead in the shells for pheasant.
