I had a similar experience: At the end of the day Saturday lying alone and forelorn on the bare tables in the pavilion was a very nice gray sweatshirt with "Shippensburg College" on the front; a good quality (Converse?) sweat with knitted cuffs and nice small diameter crew neck. Clean and smelling of Fabreze, and just my size, I thought fleetingly of "disappearing" it since I was in need of a light-colored sweat to offset my fall ensemble. But I thought better of it when I pictured myself absent-mindedly showing up wearing it at The Rock next summer and the inevitable 260-pound tackle addressing me quietly, "Nice sweatshirt, Bud; where'd ya get it?" Besides, I had already put a lost shooting glove I found in the parking lot displayed in a conspicuous place at the entry of the pavilion so the owner could claim it.
