Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

An Old Parker Pages Article
I recently received an old Parker Pages issue, I believe 2004. It contains an article named "Seventy Years Hunting with Parkers" by John "Hick" Hickerson. The excellent author discussed his early days of hunting with his father and referred to his father being a member of "The Moberly Hunting and Fishing Club near Moberly, Missouri. "Founded in 1912.
The article contains two pictures taken at the club including a picture of the building/lodge and "Two Likely hunters" standing in front.
I am wondering if any one knows, or remembers anything about that hunting club? My older brother, now 83 still lives in MY Hometown of Moberly, and he cannot find anyone around Moberly that remembers the club? He talked with a historian and he also could not find or remember of any such club?
Being from Moberly, MO. and now living in Montana, I would just like to know more about that club, and who might have founded it, and some members that may have used it and hunted there.
I was born and raised in Moberly, and did a LOT of hunting all around Moberly and the many farms that make up the countryside I inherited my fathers Parker and still have it to this day.
Thanks for any information that may find it's way back to me.

Just interested in some very old
