Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..

New to me VH is home.
Picked up the VH I bought a few days back yesterday, and very happy with the gun. It's in what appears to be excellent condtion outside of a few spots on barrels where they are a bit discolored, looks like maybe someone left blood on them at some point.....
Wood has some handling marks from years of use, but nothing bad. I bought some Timberluxe from Mr. Board, and it should be here next week. BTW, he's a great guy to talk to, and very helpful, can't wait to see how his product works.
The chambers are 2 3/4". This is a 1927 gun, my 1926 Trojan has 2 5/8". Are the 2 3/4" in the VH original? Or were they lengthened? I have ordered the factory letter, not sure if chamber lenghts are listed in those. Also, chokes as measured by one of those Galazan style gauges are M/F.
I have not taken any other measurements yet, I have a manson gauge, and will be checking that too.
Plan to go shoot a couple rounds of Trap with it this evening, can't wait to take her afield this fall.
For right now, she's just hanging out with some old friends.
