Default Repro Cases - 20ga and 28ga identical?

I have a 28 gauge Parker Reproduction I bought used about a year ago. It came with a factory case and canvas cover. The canvas cover will not go over the case, almost but not quite. Additonally the 28 gauge barrels are narrower than the fitment of the case and the 28 gauge snap caps are loose in the snap cap fitment. A 20 gauge snapcap fits correctly.

I assume that there were two different cases for 28 gauge and 20 gauge. I assume that I received a 20 gauge case with a 28 gauge canvas cover.

I have been advertising for a 28 gauge case and received an email indicating the 20 gauge and 28 gauge cases were identical.

Is this correct?

Thanks,

Mike
