The 0-frame is the standard frame size for the 20 gauge. Putting a set of 28 gauge barrels on the 0-frame was an afterthought. But this gave way to the development of the 00-frame dedicated 28 gauge frame. An absolute delight to carry all day and still come up and swing like a part of your body.
Yeah, I’ll take a 28 on the 00-frame any day.

This is kinda the reason I asked in another thread when the 00 frame first came about . My little VHE 20 feels very lively to me and the 0 frame VH 16 feels pretty lively as well . I suppose since I’ve never fired a Parker 28 repro or original I don’t have a whole lot to compare it to .
