The best value in a repro is the 28 gauge guns at about 4K for a nice one barrel set. Just try and buy a nice original Parker 28, it will take 4X that amount and up! Thats my take...thanks all SXS ohio...(-:

I think an original DHE 28 gage would be more like 8 to 10 times as much. You are absolutly right, if you want a nice 28 gage to hunt and shoot with the Repro is the way to go.
