New mounts for the game room

[Cold Spring]

So the taxidermist met up with me today to deliver new mounts for my room. All 3 birds were taken last season with a favorite 20 bore.

1st. Female bird on a piece of white birch from a tree across from the cabin

2nd. Decent cock bird on opportunity during a memorable snow hunt

3rd. Here's my start of my "A Fox gets the Game" diorama. Temporary mount until I can get a piece of an old rail fence and another hanging bird and the red fox of course. Hard to see on this pic is that the bird has a rufous ruff, only the second one I've taken.
