These birds, if they are egrets, must have been popular at Parker in 1891 or so as I have seen three different A grades with them. Here is a photo I have previously posted of a 10 ga. (also a show gun) with the same birds on the floorplate.
Yours is a very cool gun. Something about those A grades from the 1890-93 era that is special and my favorite.
