Default Parker GHE single trigger 12 gauge 221168 made 1927

I picked this gun up about 5 years ago and sent it to Brian Dudley for stocking and screw work in 2014, it has been tucked away in my brothers safe for over year without me getting a decent look at it. The blank came from Cecil Freddie and as with most guns I have had restocked is above the typical grade you would expect but I think it goes well.

The gun was in fantastic original condition with barrel blue and case colour very strong. The stock was a mess with a cobbled up repair in the wrist, a nasty replacement forearm with no tip and buggered up trigger plate screws. It has 30" Special Steel tubes, ejectors and a single selectable trigger. I think the gun came together quite nice, I had Brian make dimensions with a recoil pad with the hopes of this being a clay target breaking machine.

Remington repair code stamps on the barrel flat..... CUU3 April 49, WPP3 Aug 45..... probably no luck on finding any data I assume? Maybe it was recased and barrels blacked. The chokes measure 0.010 and 0.010 maybe altered then vs. later as well.

Sorry Chuck but there is no data on this gun so no work for you. I did receive a letter with the gun stating it was purchased in the late 40's from Abercrombie & Fitch NYC by James WR Rennie who was a member of the Portage La Prairie Country Club on the Delta Marsh, Lake Manitoba. Apparently the Club members had access to the marsh that is at the furthest southern point of Lake Manitoba and Mr Rennie was avid waterfowl hunter up until his death in 1981. At that time it passed to his sons until 1991 when it went to Saskatoon Sask and then to me in 2011.
