The gun arrived the day before Thanksgiving. I've now had a chance to inspect it & here's my take on it.
The gun weighs in at 7lb 4oz on the nose. I pulled the trigger guard & the wood is correctly stamped for the serial number & looks to be original to the gun. "pretty cool to have an original straight grip with a checkered butt" Somewhere along the line the wood has had a poor re-finish & will need to be redone to spruce the gun up. IMO the beavertail forearm wood has been re-shaped for some reason, but was well done. The ejectors work properly and are timed well.
The barrels are the big surprise. We all thought this would possibly be a skeet choked gun. Boy did I have my eye's opened when I stuck the old skeet's gauge down the muzzles. Both barrels have .733" bores with three inch tapered .028" constrictions. The bores are beautiful and free of defects. They were also nicely re-blued somewhere along the way. They ring like a bell with the thinnest wall thickness I could find for either barrel at .032"
Over all I'm pleased with it !! It just needs some TLC to bring it back to it's full glory.
