Parker Repro cases . . . collectible?

By the price just realized at auction it appears that Parker Repro cases are in and of themselves becoming collectible. A pair of cases, one a single barrel case, the other a 2-bbl. case in unused condition brought $1000 plus the premium of 12%-18 1/2% . . . Mercy me
