Northern Michigan Sporting Clays - August 22
One of the hats I wear (in addition to a Stormy Kromer and a Stetson) is being the Chairman of Headwaters Land Conservancy (Headwatersconservancy.org). Our mission is to protect large tracts of land in perpetuity, so there will continue to be wild places and wild game for the generations which will follow us.
We are hosting a 100 bird Sporting Clays charity shoot at the Lewiston Sportsmen's League on August 22. $100 buys your birds, a catered lunch and entry into a door prize drawing. We will also have some other games to play. If you register before August 14, you will also be entered into a drawing for a flat of shells. This is not a double gun event, per se, but it's geared towards stuff that is important to all of us. We will also have Michigan Out of Doors Television there, so you might end up on the small screen!
Attached is a flier describing the event in a bit more detail, and you can sign up, or make a donation on line by going to Headwatersconservancy.org
PM me with any questions you may have. Would love to have a bunch of Parkerphiles show up, and educate the unwashed about our great guns.
COB, Setterman, and Dollar Grade have shot at Lewiston, and I think they would concur that it is really a nice track.
Thanks.
