well me and the 8 ga parker went out for deer yesterday evening..we got in our shooting house and loade up the pumpkin balls we then laid the old 8 in the shooting window and cocked the right hammer. i had a good feeling this was to be the old 8 s luky day..we sat in the shooting house about 2 1/2 hours and not a single deer had been seen..it was almost dark very little light left when to our right i seen 2 deer coming our way 1 was big and the other medium size...when the deer got in shooting range 25 yards they came no closer.so as i looked down the old 8 s barrels i relized that i could not see the sight..dog gone i had waited so long for a shot like this...so i let my self do what i normally would not do take the shot..i slowly done the best i could at attemting to place the barrels in a good aim on the larger deer.i squezed the trigger and the rest is history a nice clean miss was made...so the old 8 still continues to be on the hunt for its deer...charlie
