powder availability

I posted on this site a few months ago regarding a conversation I had with a gentleman from Hogdon as to when the Clays series of powder would again become available. Since it had been some time that I had that conversation I called Hogdon this week to get an update. Unfortunately I did not get the same gentleman on the phone and the one that answered was not in the finals for "Mr Personality". The only information I was able to urge out of him was that they didn't have the powder and didn't know when they would get it but it would be after the first of the year...I didn't ask which year! Maybe this is why we don't need monopolies in the business world as they seem to control the powder supply. I guess the frustrations aroused as a result of the powder shortage give rise to the theory of government conspiracies that are making the rounds.
