For those who like Hodgdon Clays, International and Universal - the Australian company that produced these powders for Hodgdon is now reporting that the "production issue" of last year was resolved but then a "burn event" occurred in the dryer part of its process when it was brought back on line earlier this year. Net, latest word is their shotgun powders will not be available until late this year, and then the company will have to work through the order backlog. I don't use any of these powders myself but I thought I'd pass the word. It doesn't sound like those who do might not see any on the shelves until next year.

Where did that info come from? Good news I suppose, but it doesn't explain the severe shortage of all shotgun powders, not sure what I believe at this point given the prolonged empty shelves at every retailer.
