After 9 gallons of gas and two drive shear pins, 18 inches wouldn't make my monster snow blower burp! The 8 inches we got yesterday and last night on top of the 30 inches we got last weekend really put the strain on the drive train; had to blow most of it in 1st and 2nd gear. My 400-foot pipestem makes me a firm believer in the "less bling, more horsepower" club.

So far as Chantilly is concerned, plow it and they will come. Some of the great gun deals of legend have occurred by braving the drifts instead of hanging out at Starbuck's on a bitter cold snowy morning.
