In the interest of getting a grip, and in the interest of Parker appreciation, returning this thread to the top.

And an early top action hammer light 16 ( bottom gun) with frame grooves in Grade 2 and no checkering on the stock or forend. Never had any. Damascus barrels. This gun was purchased new in Salt Lake City by a Mormon pioneer family and taken north to a new settlement in British Columbia. Been in the family since sale to me. Still unaltered and unmessed with. These guns are so often intertwined with the story of America, aren't they?

It will be in the field for prairie grouse next fall.
