I agree, it is a well used gun and shows some wear but the engraved words on the presentation plate are still quite legible. The plate has seen as much honest wear as the rest of the gun and the fact that the plate is either of brass or gold only contributes to the fact that it will wear faster than the steel that the rest of the gun is made of.

I'm not going to speak for Dick or Craig but I would guess that their prices might be somewhat negotiable.

P.S., It has wonderful shooting dimensions... for me at least.
