Default I learned a lesson today

I had been watching the Thomas Hirchak auction for the Parker AAH 12ga.
and had placed a couple of pre-auction bids on it but decided to not place one last night, with the intention of placing it just before the auction was to open. Well ..... they (proxibid) switched to live mode a half hour before the auction started and I could not place another pre-auction bid. It was only possible to bid live from that point on. Unfortunately this was the first live auction Proxibid had done with this auction house and it was a Beta version of the software. I don't know if the software was just corrupt or if it just couldn't handle the volume of internet bidders but it was running too slow to bid! The AAH ended up going for $14,500.00! That was way lower than I was prepared to bid. I feel sorry for the consignee who probably lost thousands of dollars on the realized price on this gun.
Hopefully someone here won this gun at what I believe to be an amazingly low amount.
Just wished it would have been me.
