Tom, even the original 3" guns were often made on #0 frames, so the frame size is not neccesarily a clue. In that serial number range, no original owner or order information is available. The stock book information will often give chamber length specifications, at least in some eras, so get a letter in the hopes of finding out about the originality of the chambers.
