Agreed on the first part. I intend to shoot this nifty little gun exactly as it is.

With respect to the slip on butt pad suggestion, I wish I had know about the Leatherman suggestion, because I came to the same conclusion, and I already ordered the Gamekeeper Slip-On Recoil Pad from Galazan.

Great advice from lots of guys, which I appreciate.

This gun is perfect in its own way, and I have no doubt that it will be hell on grouse and woodcock as it is.
